Planning an inclusive company offsite
Most companies are made up of diverse groups of people, and everyone will have their own opinions and preferences. So how do you make sure your event can boost morale and employee engagement?
For the greatest chance of success,
avoid taking a “one-size-fits-all” approach and make the planning process inclusive. Be sure to consult team members on what they’d like to do. You can do this during a meeting, or by sending out an employee survey.
You can also consider
offering a selection of different activities. For example, you could plan a series of optional workshops or
team-building activities
for attendees to choose from. This has the added bonus of making it easier for participants to form relationships and meet new team members since they’ll be broken up into small groups.

schedule in a sufficient amount of downtime. Free periods will offer a crucial moment for attendees to recharge, relax, and reflect on the activities.
